Leslie A. Braun


Leslie A. Braun's practice includes the defense of complex construction actions, including the representation of developers and general contractors, with a focus on additional insured insurance coverage.  Ms. Braun's fourteen years of practice has also included matters involving discrimination, sexual harassment; employment disputes, business torts, contract disputes, defamation, fraud, juvenile delinquency and family law.

Ms. Braun's depth of knowledge and legal expertise has been recognized by the State of California as a Temporary Judge 2007 - 2009, American Biological Institute Woman of the Year 2007 - 2009, The Global Directory of Who's Who - Lifetime Member, American Biological Institute President's Citation 2007, Strathmore's Directory of Who's Who, and America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals 2004 - 2005.

Ms. Braun was born and raised in Southern California and was admitted to the California Bar in June of 1996.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western State University and her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.  Ms. Braun is a member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar of California Insurance Bad Faith and Family Law Sections, the San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association Family Law Section and Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, International.

After law school Ms. Braun practiced employment law with Employment Mediation & Litigation Services and Joe B. Cordileone & Associates.  Ms. Braun brought her experience and knowledge to Simpson Delmore Greene LLP in 2001 and has continued to expand her practice in complex construction actions.  Since 2007, she has been serving as a Judge Pro Tem in civil litigation and family law.  Since January of 2010, she has also been serving as a Judge Pro Tem in California's Pilot Program in Civil Collections in downtown, San Diego.  Ms. Braun's litigation experience and participation in these programs has given her the tools to successfully resolve over a hundred cases through settlement negotiations, mediation and arbitration throughout the State of California.
